There are many variations of lockers available on the market, so how do you choose just the right one?

When it comes to choosing lockers for sports applications, there are size, ventilation and security considerations.

Following are some guidelines to help you make an informed decision:

For Physical Education lockers, you need to choose a locker that can accommodate:
-Books
-Street Clothes
-Backpacks, etc.

For this application, we recommend the 15″ x 15″ x 24″ triple tier locker from LYON Workspace Products. This heavy duty locker will accommodate all of your student’s needs.

Features include:
-Full mini louvers (not perforated!), providing added ventilation while maintaining security and strength
-Heavy Duty 14 gauge steel doors with 18 gauge pan welded to center of door
-Heavy Duty 20 gauge steel bottoms
-Single point locking with reinforcing bracket in boys locker rooms
-Recessed Handle lift type with steel fingers in girls locker rooms

These lockers are also available in a 15″ x 15″ x 18″ four tier configuration. Keep in mind that while other sizes and styles are available, they may not accommodate all of the student’s belongings, forcing them to store items on the floor (which defeats the purpose of a locker!).
